Today afternoon, Metropolitan Sava of Warsaw and All Poland, the Primate of the Polish Orthodox Church arrived from Warsaw to Belgrade. 

His Beatitude is accompanied by Vicar Bishop George Pankowski and protopresbyter George Doroshkevich.The Polish church delegation was welcomed at the airport Nikola Tesla by His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej, Their Graces Bishops: Irinej of Backa, Jovan of Sumadija, Irinej of Australia and New Zealand and Vicar Bishop Andrej of Remesiana.

His Beatitude was also welcomed by children in national costumes and received bread and salt. Later, the cordial talks took place at the VIP salon of the airport.

His Beatitude Metropolitan Sava completed his doctoral studies at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Belgrade; he received monastic tonsure in the Rakovica monastery and in respect towards the founder of the Serbian Church took monastic name Sava.
