His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch visits Metropolitanate of Zagreb-Ljubljana

On June 7, 2012 His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch with members of the Holy Synod of Bishops, Their Graces Bishops Vasilije of Srem, Irinej of Backa and Jovan of Sumadija arrived in a three-day visit to the Metropolitanate of Zagreb-Ljubljana and the Republic of Croatia. The host, Metropolitan Jovan of Zagreb-Ljubljana, priests and faithful people welcomed the Serbian Patriarch and Their Graces Bishops in the Cathedral church in the Transfiguration of the Lord where doxology was served. 

In welcome speech Metropolitan Jovan greeted the prominent guests and pointed out the significance of His visit to our community. 

After they left the church Metropolitan Jovan showed the high guests the archive and the museum of our Metropolitanate.

In afternoon hours Patriarch Irinej with the members of the Synod and Metropolitan Jovan visited a new building of the Grammar school and the spiritual centre.
