Precious Cross from Holy Sepulchre brought to Holy Trinity Church in Vraki near Skadar

With the blessing of His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, and with the support of the Committee for Kosovo and Metohija of the Holy Assembly of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church  and the secretary of the Committee, His Grace Bishop Jovan of Lipljan; a group of pilgrims went to Kosovo and Metohia, Albania and Montenegro. The whole journey was planned and organized with the blessing of Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral and in cooperation with the clergy of the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral.

The aim of the pilgrim's journey was to present the Precious Cross from Jerusalem to Holy Trinity church in Vraki near Skadar (Shkoder), to attend the Holy Hierarchal Liturgies at the Patriarchate of Pec and in Vraki, a memorial service to Serbian and Montenegrin soldiers killed in battles for liberation of Skadar, as well as to visit our Serbian community and Orthodox shrines.
