Jubilee of the Diocese of Western Europe

The 45^th anniversary of the foundation of the Diocese of Western Europe and Australia and the 20^th anniversary since its reallocation of holdings and the establishment of the seat of the Diocese in Paris.

The parish of Saint Petka in Bondy near Paris celebrated its church slava on  October 26^th 2014 with the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy. His Grace Bishop Maxim of Western America officiated  the Liturgy with the concelebration of the host Bishop Luke of Western Europe and hierarchal deputy protopresbyter-stavrophor Nikola Skrbic.

Among invitees, there were Roman Catholic Bishop of Saint-Denis (north-western suburb of Paris) Pascal Delannoy, senator of the county Saint-Denis Mr. Roger Gilber,  Mayor of Bondy Mrs. Sylvine Thomassin and Ambassador of Serbia to France Mr. Rajko Ristic.

The second day of the diocesan festivities, on October 27^th 2014, Bishop Maxim officiated the Holy Liturgy at the Cathedral Church of Saint Sava in Paris. In honour and on the occasion of the slava of their Protector Venerable Petka (Parascheva of the Balkans), the members of the Circle of Serbian Sisters prepared a solemn luncheon.
