Jubilee of the Edict of Milan in Skelani

The Diocese of Zvornik-Tuzla solemnly celebrated 1700th anniversary of the Edict of Milan in Skelani near Drina

The central celebration of the jubilee of the Edict of Milan in the Diocese of Zvornik-Tuzla was held in Skelani. Their Graces Bishops Lavrentije of Sabac, Jovan of Sumadija and Hrizostom of Zvornik-Tuzla officiated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy with the concelebration of  priests and monks from many dioceses of our Church *(Zvornik-Tuzla, Budimlje-Niksic, Sumadija...). The choir Srbadija from Bijeljina sang responses.

After the Holy Liturgy Bishop Lavrentije of Sabac greeted all at this Assembly gathered, wishing them happy anniversary of the freedom of the Church.

The spiritual academy began with the anthem of the Republic of Srpska and ended with the anthem Arise, Serbia (Vostani Serbija). Dr. Mirko Sailovic, Professor of Church History at the Faculty of Theology in Foca and M.Sc.  Radovan Pilipovic, Director of the Archive of the Serbian Orthodox Church held lectures on this solemn occasion of the celebration of the jubilee.
