His Grace Bishop Joanikije of Budimlje-Niksic served on the feast day of St. Apostle Jacob, on Saturday October 22, the Divine Liturgy in the monastery of Kosijerevo and the memorial service in the church of St. Apostle Luke in Kosijerevo in Petrovici near Niksic.

He was concelebrated by many priests and monks of the Diocese of  Budimlje-Niksic.

The memorial service was performed for the members of the King's army in the homeland, who were killed on October 22, 1944 on Grahovo, as well as for the suffered from the area of Banjani, Rudina, Kamenska and Trepaca in the Second World War. The chapel of St. Apostle Luke in the monastery of Kosijerevo, was raised on the bones of about hundred martyrs, who gave their lives for the precious cross and golden freedom.

On this occasion a fresco was consecrated, which was painted in the memorial ostuary of St. Apostle Luke by hieromonk Lazar Stojkovic.
