Karadjordje's poplar, the symbol of freedom and unity of one small nation which stood up before the eyes of all Europe to fight against one mighty and strong enemy, and today it is again the meeting place of all Serbs. In the church of Holy Great Martyr George at Oplenac in the presence of the royal family Karadjordjevic, lots of faithful people, the Holy Hiearchal Liturgy was served and the requiem for Prince Paul, Princess Olga and Prince Nikola. With the blessing of His Grace Bishop Jovan of Sumadija, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was served by Bishop Pahomije of Vranje and he was concelebrated by Bishop Irinej of Australia-New Zealand with many priests.

Storing the remains in the crypt at Oplenac was attended besides the representatives of the state leadership led by Serbian President Mr. Tomislav Nikolic and representatives of the city hall of Losanne, there were present  also Their Royal Highnesses  Crown Prince Alexander and Princess Catherine and their sons Princes Peter and Philip, Prince Alexander and Princess Barbara and  their sons Princes Michel and Dusan; Princess Elizabeth, her daughter Catherine Oxenberg, her son  Nicholas and Stephanie Balfour, and their children India,Gloria, Olympia and Georgia Balfour; Prince Michael, Duke of Kent; Prince Nikolaos of Greece; Her Imperial and Royal Highness Arch Duchess Helen von Habsburg; Her Imperial and Royal Highness Arch Duchess Maria Teresa von Habsburg Lothringen; Count Hans Veit von Toerring-Jettenbach and his son, Hereditary Count Ignaz von Toerring-Jettenbach; Princess Linda and her sons Princes Djordje and Michael; Prince Vladimir and Princess Brigitta; Prince Paul's In-Laws: Neil and Serena Balfour, Christopher Balfour,Jean Marie and Veronika de Brouwer as well as  members of the diplomatic corps.

Princess Elizabeth, the daughter of Prince Paul Karadjordjevic, said that was now  a great injustice was corrected and the great wounds were healed and thanked  President of SerbiaTomislav Nikolic for her father was finally back to Serbia.
