Liturgy in the Runovic endowment in Prizren

Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren celebrated on 13 January 2013 the Divine Liturgy in the church of Saint George (XIV century), the endowment of the Runovic family, in Prizren. This small temple is located just behind the Cathedral church of Saint George, within the complex of the Episcopal palace in Prizren, was burned in 2004 pogrom. All frescoes were burned then, and their restoration was finished couple of months ago. The restaurators from Thessaloniki were engaged and they managed to preserve all frescoes which lost their pigment because of the immense heat in the fire. 

Following the Holy Liturgy, Bisho Teodosije appropriated a solemn reception on the occasion of the Orthodox Christmas and New Year. The reception was attended by the highest international representatives, including the KFOR Commander, General Folbauer; Mr. Zarif, the UNMIK cheaf, representatives of the offices of several countries, EULEX, OESC etc.
