Livno: Livno New Martyrs prayerfully celebrated

The Holy Liturgy was celebrated on the occasion of the feast of the Holy Great Martyr Marina and of the memory of the martyrdom of innocent Serbs - old men, women and children and thrown by the Ustashes into a deep pit of Ravni Dolac. The worship took place in the chapel-memorial ossuary dedicated to the Holy New Martyrs of Livno on July 30, 2020.

The Holy Liturgy was served by several priests from the Diocese of Bihac-Petrovac and other dioceses of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

Commemorations will also be held in the following martyrdom places: Gubin, July 31 - Holy Liturgy at 10 a.m. and a memorial service at the grave of the priest Rista Catic and his 12 parishioners; Caprazlije, July 31 at 1:30 p.m., memorial service at the site of the demolished monument to the victims in the Samogred pit; Celebic, August 1 - Holy Liturgy at 10 a.m., at the memorial cemetery on Barjak; Brcko, August 2 - Holy Liturgy and memorial service starting at 9 am in the church of Holy Kyriakia (Meraja); Novi Sad, August 2 - Holy Liturgy and memorial service, Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius in Telep.
