Mayor of Novi Sad visits Bishop of Backa

His Grace Dr Irinej, Bishop of Backa received on October 15, 2012 at the Bishop’s Residence,  Mr. Milos Vucevic – the Mayor of Novi Sad who was accompanied by Mr. Milos Vucevic – Deputy Mayor. Protopresbyter Vladan Simic – Secretary of the Bishop of Backa also attended the meeting.

The representatives of the City’s Authorities and His Grace Bishop of Backa discussed the relation and perspectives of the cooperation of these two oldest and most significant institutions in our city.

The Mayor expressed desire and readiness of the city authorities to cooperate with the Diocese of Backa and all the traditional Churches and religious communities in Novi Sad.
