Meeting of Bishop Atanasije and Archbishop Hocevar

Roman Catholic Archbishop of Belgrade, Stanislav Hocevar, visited together with the President of the Municipality of Prijepolje, Mr. Vladimir Babic and a member of the Municipal Council, Mr. Zoran Petric, Milesevo Monastery on February 3, 2021.
The guests were welcomed by His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Mileševo On that occasion, the monastery was also visited by representatives of the Islamic Community of Serbia from Prijepolje, Chief Imam Nadir ef. Dacic and Hamza ef. Rovchanin.
Bishop Atanasije took the guests on a tour of the sights of the Milesevo Monastery, and then, in the spirit of Serbian hospitality, organized a lunch in the monastery refectory, during which they discussed the importance of maintaining good interfaith relations in multi-confessional environments.
