Meeting of the Committee for Kosovo and Metohija

After the meeting of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Patriarchate of Pec a meeting of the Committee for Kosovo and Metohija of the Holy Assembly of Bishops was held. It was presided by His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Kyr Irinej, and along with the members of the Holy Synod there were members of the Committee, Their Graces Kyr Teodosije, Bishop of Raska-Prizren and Kyr Jovan Bishop of Lipljan, and Their Graces Kyr Lavrentije Bishop of Sabac and Kyr David Bishop of Stobi attended the meeting.

On the Eve of the Feast day of the Patriarchate of Pec, Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos, His Grace Kyr Joanikije Bishop of Budimlje-Niksic served with the gathered clergy the Festal Vigil service, in the presence of His Holiness Kyr Irinej, Serbian Patriarch and His Grace Kyr Irinej Bishop of Backa.
