Memorial Service for Victims of Criminal Military Action “Storm”

In St. Mark’s church Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno celebrated the Divine Liturgy and the memorial service for the suffered in the military action “Storm”.

With regards to the shocking decision of the Hague Tribunal to release the Croatian state and Croatian generals Markac and Gotovina from the responsibility from responsibility for the persecution and murders of the Krajina Serbs, in the church of Saint Mark in Belgrade on 18 November 2012, the extraordinary memorial service for the Serbian old people, women, children and soldiers, who were killed in 1995 during the criminal military action “Storm”. Then 250 thousand Serbs were expelled from their centuries-old homes and more than 1000 Serbs were killed. Whole their assets were plundered or destroyed. За те злочине нико није одговарао. No one has been tried for those crimes.

Following the Divine Liturgy, the Memorial service was celebrated by His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno, Vicar of Serbian Patriarch, with the concelebration of many priests and deacons. Lots of people were present at the memorial service.
