Memorial service for the victims of “ Storm” at the Church of St Marko

Today at the Belgrade church of St Apostle Marko a memorial service was served for the victims of Storm action, which was 14 years ago done unified Croatian and Moslem military and police forces on the territory of Serbian Krajina killing 2650 and expatriating 340000 Serbs from their centuries-old hearths.

The memorial service was served by Their Graces Bishop Nikanor of Banat, Bishop Grigorije of Zahumlje and Herzegovina and Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno with the concelebration of the priesthood of Archbishopric of Belgrade and Karlovac. President of Serbia Boris Tadic, representatives of the Government of Serbia, members of the Crown Council and several hundreds refugees and the expelled were also present

After the memorial service Bishop Nikanor spoke to the present in the church full of people.
