Metropolitan Amfilohije meets with the chief of the OESC Mission in Montenegro and the Ambassador of Turkey in separate visits
On 26 March 2013 there were two audiences at the Episcopal palace of the Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral at Cetinje. His Eminence Amfilohije, Archbishop of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral, met with His Excellency Ambassador Ljubomir Kopaja, chief of the OESC Mission, and in a separate visit with His Excellency Mehmet Niyazi Tanilir, Ambassador of Turkey to Podgorica.
This was the first visit of Ambassador Kopaj since his last year’s installation as the chief of the OESC mission. The Ambassador used this opportunity to visit Cetinje Monastery as well.
Later in the afternoon, the Metropolitan received Ambassador Tanilir, who also payed his first visit to the seat of the Metropolitanate, although he had attended the traditional Christmas audience few months ago. They spoke mostly about the relations between Orthodoxy and Islam both in Montenegro and in the world.
