The Metropolitan of France at the Xenofontos Monastery on Mount Athos

Metropolitan Emmanuel of France visited the Holy Xenofontos Monastery on Mount Athos last weekend, with the permission of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, for the ordination of Deacon George of the Xenofontos Monastery to Presbyter.
The Metropolitan was warmly welcomed by the Abbot of the monastery, Archimandrite Alexios.
In his address, the Metropolitan of France conveyed the blessing of The Ecumenical Patriarch and analyzed the Mystery of Priesthood according to the fathers of the Church.
