Metropolitan of Kiyev and all Ukraine visiting the Serbian Church in Montenegro
His Beatitude Metropolitan of Kiyev and all Ukraine Onuphrius will visit Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral on 27th February 2020.
His Beatitude Onuphrius will be welcomed with a solemn doxology at 6 p.m. at the Orthodox Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Podgorica, from where His Beatitude and His Eminence Amfilohije, the Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral, will head the cross introit procession along the streets of Podgorica and thus support the righteous struggle of the faithful against the discriminatory Law on Freedom of Religion in Montenegro.
On February 28, 2020, Metropolitan Onuphrius will visit the Cetinje Monastery at 11.30 am, and the next day, February 29 at 9 am, will celebrate the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at the Podgorica Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ, with concelebration of several bishops of Serbian Orthodox Church and the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. After the Holy Liturgy, Metropolitan Onuphrius will lead the procession towards the monastery of Saint Simeon the Myrrh-Gusher at the Nemanja's city in Podgorica.
