The Minister of Defence visited the Patriarch of Alexandria

Patriarch Theodore of Alexandria and all Africa met with the Minister of Defence Evangelos Apostolakis in connection with the official visit of the Minister in Egypt.

The Minister of Defence was accompanied by Ambassador of Greece to Egypt Michael Diamesis and Consul General of Greece in Alexandria Athanasios Kotsionis.

The Patriarch welcomed the Minister expressing his emotion for his second visit to the Patriarchate of Alexandria, this time as the Minister of National Defense.

On his part, Evangelos Apostolakis referred to traditionally very good relations between the two neighboring countries, Greece and Egypt, and to the cooperation developed over the last years in many areas such as economy, geo-strategy and many others.
