Monastery Ćelije - Day of Father Justin

In the days of the Holy Pentecost when we celebrate the Descent of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples - the birthday of the Church of Christ we have celebrated also the "live book of the Spirit" of Venerable Justin of Ćelije. In the monastery of Ćelije, the Holy Family in which this God's gratifier spent last thirty years of his earthly life and from which he moved to the Kingdom of Heaven, in the liturgical gathering his newly-established holidaz and the Third day of Pentecost was celebrated.

The Liturgy was served by His Grace Bishop Hrizostom of Zica, who was concelebrated by Bishops Lukijan of Osek-Polje and Baranja, Teodosije of Raska-Prizren, retired Bishop Atanasije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina, priesthood of the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral, Metropolitanate of Belgrade-Karlovac, Diocese of Valjevo, Archbishopric of Ohrid, Greek Orthodox Church and Mount Athos. There  was a great participation in the Liturgy by monks and nuns of our Church from Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral and Dioceses: Zahumlje-Herzegovina, Raska-Prizren, Sabac, Zica, Sumadija and Valjevo as well as many believers from all parts of Serbian lands. The Liturgy as attended also by the Mayor of Valjevo Mr. Zoran Jakovljevic.   

Following the end of the Liturgy, the slava cake was cut and the slava wheat was blessed, and Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren addressed the present who spoke on the significance of the figure and deed of father Justin for all Christian world.
