Monastery of Cetinje and Seminary of Saint Peter of Cetinje solemnly and prayerfully celebrate its patron

The monastery of Cetinje and the Seminary of Saint Peter of Cetinje on Wednesday, 31 October 2012, prayerfully and solemnly celebrated the feast day of our Holy father Peter of Cetinje and Holy Apostle and Evangelist Luke.

The celebration of Saint Luke commenced on the eve of the feast, on Tuesday, 30 October 2012, with a solemn vigil service which was served by Their Eminences: Amfilohije, Archbishop of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral and Artemius, the Archbishop of Gornyen and Volgov from the Belarus Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate. Lots of clergy concelebrated along with the pupils of the Seminary of Cetinje who sang responses.

On the feast day of Saint Peter of Cetinje the Divine Liturgy besides the relics of Saint Peter the First of Cetinje, was served by Metropolitan Amfilohije, and bishops, guests; as well as Atanasije, retired Bishop of Zahumlje-Herzegovina; Jovan, Bishop of Nis; Teodosije, Bishop of Raska-Prizren and Jovan, Bishop of Lipljan.
