Monument to Russian soldiers killed in World War II consecrated in Belgrade

Locum tenens of the Patriarchate throne His Eminence Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral togehter with His Eminence Metropolitan of Minsk and Slutsk, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus Filaret, in the presence of vicar Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno, protopresbyter-staurophor Vitaly Tarasjev has consecrated today at the New Cemetary in Belgrade, the Memorial and Ossuary to the Russian soldiers killed in the First World War.

This ossuary was built with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Varnava of Serbia and Metropolitan Antony of Russia,  аnd a portal was a personal gift of Patriarch Varnava.
