New Head of Protocol appointed for the Patriarchal Administration
During its session held Thursday, 19 January 2017, the Standing National Church Council appointed Rev. Dr Michael Tița as Head of Protocol for the Patriarchal Administration. Patriarchal Adviser Michael Tița will be responsible for inter-Orthodox, inter-Christian and inter-religious relations, as well as for the relations of the Romanian Patriarchate with state institutions (Presidency, Parliament, Govern etc.) and foreign embassies accredited in Bucharest.
The Standing National Church Council took in consideration the fact that Patriarchal Adviser Rev. Michael Tița has a thorough academic education (doctorate at the University of Durham, UK) and a rich experience within interfaith dialogues, both at national and international level, and has good knowledge of English and French.
