On media lies used to spread fear and hatred and on their authors

Our beloved spiritual children in Christ:

This is the last hour . . . Be vigilant! Watch over your precious souls!

. . . They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us.
For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us;
but their going showed that none of them belonged to us. . .
But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.
I do not write because you do not know the truth,
but because you do know it and because no lie comes from truth.

Who is the liar? (I John 2:18-22a)

In words of St. Dimitri of Rostov: a person who judges others is likened unto a mirror which reflects in itself all others, yet fails to see itself! And truly, these days, wolves, whose interests are purely material and secular, have gathered to steal your very souls in the pale reflection of their unscrupulous lies! Instead of falling victim to their machinations, together with the Psalmist David, let us pray: Set a guard, Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips (Ps 141:3). For all words uttered or committed to writing never can be destroyed, rather await us in Eternity and will serve to judge us accordingly!

New Serbian Stars have shone upon Australia and the World!

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run,
but only one gets the prize?

Run in such a way as to get the prize (I Cor 9:24).

These days, not only the eyes of Serbian-Australians, but the eyes of the world were fixed on the Australian Open in Melbourne watching our Serbian athletes, our finest ambassadors to the world compete in a record tennis tournament!

Mr. Todorovic pointed out for the Novi Sad based newspaper “Gradjanski list’’ that this represented one of the nine decisions brought so far on the restitution of church property.

Vandal Attack Against the Serbian Church in Knin (Croatia)

In the night between the 17th and the 18th of January 2008, the church of St. George once more became a target for vandals. Following the usual scenario, for the fifth time over the past three months, the entrance door has been forced open and the objects in the Holy church shuffled around. At this occasion, the entrance door suffered cospicuos material damage.

This situation has been causing concern to the orthodox Serbs in Knin, especially following the most recent events, considering the fact that such vandal transgressions have been becoming more and more frequent.

The police station in Knin has been informed on this event and visited the scene.

The official notice: The Orthodox Cathedral in Split attacked again

Сплит Just a couple of days after the letter with neo-nazi threats addressed to the Orthodox church community in Split, another violent attack occured this morning, on the 18th of January 2008, when it has been discovered that the doors and walls of the manse are full of neo-nazi and ustashi garfitti, such as: «Serbs to be butchered!» together with ustashi simbol of capital letter U with a sign of cross above it.

These disturbing events, which lately occur very frequently on the territory of the Dalmatian Diocese augur badly for the ominous time of the Second World War when a lot of people lost their lives only because of their nationality or faith.
