On Third Sunday after Pentecost, 15/28 June 2020. on the feast day of Saint Vitus Day, His Grace Bishop Irinej of Novi Sad and Backa officiated the Holy Liturgy in the church of Saint Sava in Novi Sad with the concelebration of His Graces Bishop Isihije of Mohacs, the clergy and deacons of Novi Sad.

June 2020 - 16:03The Holy Synod of Bishops, at their session held on June 25, 2020, strongly condemned the continued persecution of the Church by the Montenegrin authorities, manifested by the latest summoning of His Eminence Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral to the Security Administrative Centre in Podgorica for questioning, where he had been detained for six hours, as well as by arresting a number of priests and faithful people, thereat constantly threatening by deportation of those priests who are not Montenegrin citizens.
The Church in Montenegro and its bishops, clergy and monks, along with the faithful have been defending their shrines and completely justifiably demanding the necessary amendments to the disputed Law on Freedom of Religion, avoiding any politicization of the issue.
Jadovno, Croatia: We do not pray for the perished but to the perished

Faced with the mystery of evil, we need to penetrate the mystery of good, said His Eminence Metropolitan Porfirije of Zagreb and Ljubljana at the Memorial Service for the victims of Jadovno (*Croatian concentration camp for Serbs in WWII) on 24th June 2020 over the Saran Pit, near Gospic, Croatia.
Memorial service for the victims of Jadovno was officiated by His Eminence Porfirije and Their Graces Bishops Gerasim of Gornji Karlovac and Nikodim of Dalmatia with the concelebration of the clergy of the three dioceses.
Patron Saint-day of Holy Apostles Bartholomew and Barnabas
25. June 2020 - 10:53His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch celebrated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the church of Holy Apostles Bartholomew and Barnabas in Rakovica on 24 June 2020.
The Patriarch was concelebrated by the local clergy. At the beginning of the service His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch consecrated a new fresco painting of the church. After the cross procession around the church, Patriarch Irinej handed over the diploma to Mr. Darko Spajic, an entrepreneur from Rakovica, for his selfless love and zeal for the Serbian Orthodox Church, and especially for the great contributions to the renovation of the church of the Holy Apostles Bartholomew and Barnabas.
Metropolitan Hrizostom visits the Archives of the Serbian Church
24. June 2020 - 8:38His Eminence Metropolitan Hrizostom of Dabar-Bosnia visited new premises of the Archives of the Serbian Church which was adapted during 2019 in the building of the Saint Sava’s House in Zemun.
For the management and staff of the Archives of the Serbian Orthodox Church, the visit of Metropolitan Hrizostom was a great joy and a real spiritual strengthening. As the current regular member of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, but also as a member of several previous convocations, the Metropolitan is very well acquainted with all the efforts to finally place archival material of church-administrative origin inadequate space and gain archival and scientific research dignity, as they deserve.

22. June 2020 - 23:53Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral was interrogated at the Security Center in Podgorica on the Monday of 22nd June, 2020.
The Hierarch was interrogated by the Police as an alleged organizer of last night's cross procession in Podgorica.
The Metropolitan gave a statement, and a statement from the prosecutor is awaited now. The clergy and the faithful gathered in front of the Security Center were divided into smaller groups, because it was not allowed to gather more than 20 people in front of the Police building. At the last moment, after six hours of detention for an informative conversation, Metropolitan Amfilohije left the building of the Podgorica police.
