The issue of the completion of legal proceedings in Australia is a constant concern of our Metropolitanate, one which we have at present started to actively implement. At the convocations of the Executive Board and Assembly of the Metropolitanate of Australia and New Zealand (03 to 05 September 2015) in Melbourne, the official position of the Metropolitanate of Australia and New Zealand of the Serbian Orthodox Church was formulated as such that the Metropolitanate would not initiate new proceedings or continue with procedures that were stayed until the handing down of the judgment of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and adoption of a Scheme regarding the use of the New Kalenich Monastery; except in the case of an appeal, in order to defend our court victory in the process of restoring the New Kalenich Monastery to the Serbian Orthodox Church.

At the Belgrade Patriarchate, the Protocol on cooperation between the Archives of the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Museum of the genocide victims was solemnly signed on 12 April 2016. This document, which facilitates a future cooperation of two institutions, was signed by His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej, His Grace Bishop Jovan of Slavonia as president of the Managing Board of the Museum of genocide victims, acting director of this Museum Dr. VeljkoDjuric Misina and Director of the Archives of the Serbian Orthodox Church MSc Radovan Pilipovic.
Serbian Prime Minister Vucic visits Cathedral church in Mostar
13. April 2016 - 10:24President of the Government of the Republic of Srpska Mr. Aleksandar Vucic visited the seat of the Diocese of Zahumlje-Herzegovina and the Littoral in Mostar, where he met Bishop Grigorije and the priesthood of Mostar.
Following the talks at the Episcopal Court, Prime Minister Vucic along with the hosts visited the construction site of the Cathedral church.

Bishop Maxim visits Kosovo and Metohija
