Official talks at Serbian Patriarchate
After the prayerful gathering in the monastery of Rakovica, the primates of the Serbian and Russian Orthodox Church with the escort went to the Serbian Patriarchate where the official talks were held.
The official talks of the primates of the Serbian and Russian Orthodox Churches were attended by members of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church: Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral, Bishop Lavrentije of Sabac and Hrizostom of Zvornik-Tuzla, as well as Bishop Irinej of Backa, Bishop Antonije of Moravica, head of the Representation of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Moscow; Bishop David of Stobi and protopresbyter-stavrophor Dr. Savo Jovic, chief secretary of the Holy Synod. At the talks, on behalf of the Moscow Patriarchate, were present: Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Office for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate (DECR); Bishop Sergiy of Solnechnogorsk, head of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Administrative Secretariat; protopresbyters: Nikolay Balashov, DECR Vice-chairman ; Igor Jakimchuk, DECR secretary for inter-Orthodox relations; Andrei Milkin, chief of the Patriarchal Protocol Service.
After the talks occasional gifts were exchanged.
