Oplenac Royal Crypt: Memorial Rite for King Alexander Karadjordjevic served

On Friday, 9 October 2015, when the Church celebrates Holy Apostle and Evangelist John the Theologian, His Grace Bishop Jovan of Sumadia officiated the Divine Hierarchal Liturgy, with concelebration of  local priests, in the church of Saint Great-martyr George on Oplenac.

The Holy Liturgy was attended by President of the Municipality of Topola Mr. Dragan Zivanovic, Director of the King Peter I Karadjordjevic Foundation Mr. Dragan Reljic as well as by pupils of secondary and primary schools in Topola.

Following the Holy Liturgy, annual memorial rite (panichida) was served at the grave of King Alexander Karadjordjevic.
