Bishop Jovan of Nis at International Conference in Varna

February 2013 - 13:41His Grace Bishop Dr. Jovan of Nis participated in the 19th International Conference on the theme Traditional Values and Democratic Freedoms in Modern World, in Varna beginning on 18 February 2013. After the introductory address, in which he conveyed warm greetings from both Serbian Patriarch Irinej and the members of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Bishop Jovan delivered a lecture on the theme: Saint John Chrysostom: Liturgical Ethos and Modernity.

Ukraine: In memory of 1700th anniversary of The Edict of Milan

February 2013 - 13:31From February 14 to June 3 the all-Ukrainian Cross procession with a particle of the Holy and Life-giving Cross of the Lord and relics of Saints Constantine and Helen, Equals-to-the-Apostles, has been passing through towns of the Ukraine. The prayer procession is devoted to the 1700th anniversary of promulgation of the edict of Milan by Emperor Constantine and will be visiting 51 Ukrainian towns.

No Spurious Solution
