"Law of God" in the Thai language are published in Thailand
1. February 2012 - 12:29The Law of God by archpriest Seraphim Slobodskoy, the fundamental book containing 890 pages of the basis truths of the Orthodox Christian faith, has been published in Thailand in the Thai language.
The website of the Orthodox Christian Church in Thailand reports that translation and publication of the book began with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia. He visited Thailand in 2001 as chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations and noted the absence of fundamental catechetical materials in Thai.
The Tomsk diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church and Archbishop Rostislav of Tomsk and Asinov provided material support. USD 15,000 has been provided for this endeavour during the last two years.

The Serbs appealed to you as well, and their desire was dictated by despair and helplessness in the situation in which they have been caught. The recent initiatives of Serbs in Kosovo for Russian citizenship have given a powerful signal that should be heard not only in Russia but throughout Europe.
Patriarchal Metochion of St. Nicholas in Bari is returned to the custody of the Russian Orthodox Church

January 2012 - 12:54On 22 January 2012, Archbishop Mark of Yegorievsk, head of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Management for Institutions Abroad, celebrated Divine Liturgy in the Church of St. Nicholas at the Patriarchal metochion in Bari, Italy, together with Rev. Andrei Boitsov, rector of the metochion.
Archbishop Mark inspected restoration work and suggested that the metochion should be active in receiving pilgrims, arranging exhibition, etc.
On January 23, Archbishop Mark celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the crypt of the Basilica of St. Nicholas where his relics repose.
