His Beatitude meets with the Primate of the Armenian Orthodox Diocese in Egypt

On 28th October 2014, His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, welcomed to the Patriarchal See the Primate of the Armenian Orthodox Diocese in Egypt, Bishop Ashod Mnatsakanyan. During their meeting, which is part of the cooperation between Christians denominations in Egypt, the two Church leaders discussed matters relating to their mutual intention to work for institutional consolidation and for the active defense of the right to the freedom of religious expression for all Christians in Egypt, regardless of denomination. 

Patriarchal Divine Liturgy in Kenya

On Sunday 18 October 2014, His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa conducted the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Cathedral of Ss Anargyri in Nairobi, Kenya, supported by His Eminence Makarios of Kenya, His Grace Innocent Bishop of Burundi and Rwanda and Fr Athenodoros Papaevripiades, as well as many African priests.  During the Divine Liturgy, at which the Patriarchal Academy choir sang, His Beatitude ordained to the Diaconate the second year seminarian Ioannis Karakasia. Present at the Divine Liturgy were the Ambassadors of Greece, Russia and Serbia, and hundreds of African Orthodox faithful who filled the Holy Church and the grounds from early in the morning.

On the eve of his 70th anniversary the Primate of the Ukranian Orthodox Church visits Mount Athos

 His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry of Kiev and All Ukraine, accompanied by Bishop Eusebius of Hotin, Vicar of the Diocese of Chernovitsy-Bukovina, visited the Russian Monastery of Saint Pantaleon at Mount Athos on November 4^th, 2014.

His Beatitude John X, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East conducted his irenic first visit to the Church of Greece from October 23 to 27 at the invitation of His Beatitude Ieronymos II, Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, accompanied by a delegation of Antiochian bishops, priests, deacons and laity.

Visit of Patriarch John X of Antioch & All East to the Monastic Republic of Mount Athos

Thessaloniki: His Beatitude John X – the Patriarch of Antioch and All East made an apostolic visit to the Monastic Republic of Mount Athos. The Patriarch and the delegation from the Church of Antioch were welcomed by the Monks. A special welcome was held at the Vatopedi monastery for the delegation under the auspicious patronage of Abbot Archimandrite Elder Efrem.
