Orthodox primates congratulated the 60th birthday to Serbian Patriarch Porfirije
On the occasion of his 60th birthday His Holiness Porfirije, Serbian Patriarch, received congratulations from Orthodox primates, hierarchs, clergy, Crown Prince Aleksandar Karadjordjevic, representatives of other churches and religious communities, ambassadors, as well as numerous believers from the Homeland and the world.
The Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church does not mark the day of his birth, but, nevertheless, on that occasion, as a sign of attention and love, he received numerous congratulations from the Orthodox world, among which are letters from Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople, Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, Patriarch Daniel of Romania, Archbishop Rastislav of the Czech Lands and Slovakia, Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine, and Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk.
In their brotherly congratulations, they wished His Holiness Porfirije, Serbian Patriarch the greatest help of God, spiritual strength, and bodily virtue in his primate's service to the joy of the pious clergy and the faithful flock of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
