Palm Sunday in Zagreb

Metropolitan Porfirije: Man needa a man.Bat, above all, man needs God.

The Church in Zagreb celebrated the feast-day of the solemn Entry of Christ into Jerusalem, with the Holy Liturgy officiated by His Eminence Metropolitan Dr. Porfirije of Zagreb-Ljubljana. The Metropolitan was concelebrated by priests of the Cathedral church and lots of believers gathered in the church.

Metropolitan Porfirije held a sermon relating to this feast-day and exposed meaning and significance of these two feast-days, the Lazarus Saturday and Palm Sunday, as days of festal of joy, rest and spiritual refreshment at the entry of the Great and Holy Week of sufferings of Christ.

The liturgy after liturgy was held in the Museum of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
