Parish Slava Celebration at Holy Trinity in Youngstown
The Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church-School Congregation on Laird Avenue in Youngstown, Ohio celebrated its Slava, Pentecost - Duhovi on June 4th beginning with the Divine Liturgy.
Following church services a traditional Slavski banquet held in the Serbian Memorial Hall, where the Kolach and Koljivo were blessed. Joining parish priest Reverend Father Bosko Stojanovic in serving the Divine Liturgy were Reverend Father Dragan Goronjic, parish preist at Holy Trinity (Racoon Rd) and Dean of the Cleveland Deanery, and Reverend Father Vedran Grabic, parish priest at St. George the Great-Martyr in Hermitage, Pennsylvania.
Serving as Slavski Kumovi were Lyn Pavicic-Krispinsky and her son Matt Krispinsky. The meal was prepared by the Circle of Serbian Sisters and served to all in attendance. Parishioners from Holy Trinity Church (Austintown, OH) and St. George (Hermitage, PA) were in attendance.
