Paschal Matins and Easter Liturgy in the Cathedral church of Novi Sad

On Sunday, 28 April 2019, His Grace Bishop Irinej of Novi Sad celebrated the Paschal matins and officiated the Holy Liturgy in the Cathedral church in Novi Sad with concelebration of His Grace Bishop Isihije of Mohacs, clergy of the Cathedral church and deacons of Novi Sad, in the presence of a great number of thefaithful.

The Paschal Encyclical of the Serbian Patriarch and all the Hierarchs of the Serbian Orthodox Church Church addressed to all the clergy, monastics, and all the sons and daughters of our Holy Church, wishing them grace, mercy and peace from God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, was read by the diocesan dean of Novi Sad, protopresbyter-staurophor Milivoj Mijatov.

Before the Holy Communion of the faithful, the Paschal Homily of St. John Chrysostom  was read by Hi Grace Irinej, Bishop of Novi Sad.

The worship was attended by the Novi sad mayor Milos Vucevic with his colleauges and the Principle of the High School “Zmaj Jovan Jovanovic” Radivoje Stojkovic.
