The Patriarch of Alexandria in Armenia
His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, accompanied by the Reverend Protopresbyter Athinodoros Papaevripiades, Exarch of the Patriarchate of Alexandria in Cyprus, went to Erevan in Armenia from 25th to the 30th September 2015, by invitation of His Beatitude the High Catholikos Patriarch of all Armenians, Karekin II, to attend the events marking the 100th anniversary of the Genocide of the Armenians.
In the framework of these events the Alexandrian Primate had the opportunity of meeting with representatives of other Christian faiths and Organizations from all over the world and to give an address entitled “Prayer, Eucharistic Gathering and Social Life” in front of all present, in the Amphitheatre of the “Gevorkian” Theological Academy, of the Etchmiadzin Cathedral.
