Patriarch Irinej meets with Metropolitan Hilarion

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch received today at the Serbian Patriarchate His Eminence Hilarion of Volokolamsk, the President of the Office for foreign church relations of the Moscow Patriarchate.

The reception was attended by the members Holy Synod of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church: His Eminence Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral, Their Graces Bishops -Irinej of Backa, Fotije of Dalmatia, Grigorije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina; Vicar Bishops Atanasije of Hvosno and Antonije of Moravica; as well as Mr. Vuk Jeremic, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia with associates; His Excellency Alexander Konuzin, Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Serbia and prof. Dr. Bogoljub Sijakovic.

The delegation of the Russian Orthodox Church which is in a three-day visit led by Metropolitan Hilarion consists of: father Igor Jakimcuk, hierodeacon Jovan (Kopeykin), Leonids Sevastiynov, Sergey Plastinin and Mr. Dmitry Malishev.
