Patriarch Irinej in Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral

We inform with a great joy all priesthood and the faithful in Montenegro that in a period from October 30 until November 1 of this year, and on the occasion of St. Peter of Cetinje and the remembrance of 180 years of his enthronment, our Metropolitanate will be visited by His Holiness Irinej Arcbishop of Pec, Metropolitan of Belgrade-Karlovac and Serbian Patriarch upon the invitation of His Eminence Amfilohije Archbishop of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral.

Patriarch Irinej will on Saturday, October 30, attend the Formal feast day's vigil service beginning at 5pm in the Cetinje monastery, and on the feast day, October 31 with the concelebration of many bishops, priests and the faithful will serve the Divine Liturgy in the Cetinje monastery at 9am. Later the same day he will attend the St. Luke's Day academy in the crypt of the Cathedral church of the Ressurection of Christ in Podgorica, which begins at 7pm.

Next day, on November 1, in monastery of Zdrebaonik,His Holiness will kiss the relics of St. Arsenius, the second Serbian Archbishop, the successor of St. Sava, on whose throne he is. The same day he will visit the monastery of Ostrog where he will kiss the relics of St. Basil the Wonder-worker, Metropolitan of Zahumlje and East Herzegovina.
