Patriarch Irinej at the monastery of The Nativity of The Holy Mother of God

On Monday, February 21, 2011 His Holiness Irinej Serbian Patriarch accompanied by His Grace Bishop Longin of Nova Gracanica and Midwestern America visited the Serbian Orthodox Patriarchal Monastery of the Birth of Holy Mother of God in New Carlisle in Indiana.

Patriarch was welcomed by abbess Mother Makrina Zugic with the sisterhood of the monastery and the faithful people who visits and supports this great serbian sanctuary in the States.

On Tuesday, February 22, 2011 Patriarch served the Divine Liturgy in a beautifully painted monastery church. He was concelebrated by Bishop Longin and other priests. Later that day a table of love was prepared in a monastery lodging.
