His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej received the 6th class students of the High Security and Defense Studies at the National Defense School of the Military Academy; the meeting took place at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade on 1 June 2017.

Students of high security and defense studies expressed their gratitude to the Head of  the Serbian Orthodox Church for the cordial reception during which they considered various challenges facing the southern Serbian province of Kosovo and Metohija, as well as the cooperation of the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Army of Serbia.

The Serbian Patriarch Irinej thanked the distinguished guests for the visit, wishing them divine blessings in their highly responsible mission. The reception was attended by the General Secretary of the Office of the Serbian Patriarch, Deacon Dr. Aleksandar Prascevic.
