Patriarch Irinej received students of Serbian language and literature from Niksic

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch received on Friday, October 28, 2011 students and professors of the Department for Serbian language and literature of the Faculty of Philosophy in Niksic.

Greeting  the students Serbian Patriarch reminded of the day when he spent in the monastery of Ostrog near Niksic. 

Professor Milorad Durutovic thanked Patriarch Irinej for the reception and a unique opportunity very important for further work of students and professors of the Serbian language and literature in Niksic.

Serbian Patriarch Irinej called the students and professors of the Department of the Serbian language and literature of the Faculty of Philosophy in Niksic to be good Christians and to study diligently and work for the benefit of their close friends and relatives, their people and state.

After the reception at Patriarch of the Serbian Church, students and professors visited the Library of the Serbian Patriarchate, the Information and publishing institution of the SOC gave their publications as gifts.
