Patriarch Irinej receives Bishop Nazarius of Kronstadt

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, received His Grace Nazarius, Bishop of Kronstadt, Vicar Bishop of the Diocese of Sankt Petersburg and the head of the laura of Saint AleksanderNevsky, at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade on 21 December 2016.

His Grace Arsenije of Toplica, Vicar Bishop of the Serbian Patriarch and the head of Saint Sava Cathedral in the Vracar District of Belgrade, and protopresbyter Vitaly Tarasyev, the dean of the Representation of the Moscow Patriarchate to Belgrade, attended the reception.

The reason of the visit of the Russian hierarch in Belgrade was a photo exhibition of the laura of Saint Aleksander Nevsky in St. Petersburg, which was opened with the financial support of the Bureau for Cooperation with Traditional Churches and Religious Communities of the Republic of Serbia in the crypt of the Saint Sava Cathedral  in Belgrade on the previous evening.
