Patriarch Irinej Receives High Parliamentary Delegation of Republic of Indonesia
His Holiness Kyr Irinej, Serbian Patriarch received on November 7th, 2012 high parliamentary delegation of the Republic of Indonesia which was in an official visit to our country.
Patriarch Irinej informed friends from, as he said, “beautiful country of Indonesia” on activities and the organization of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
The Ambassador of Indonesia, Mr. Samuel Samson introduced to Patriarch Irinej the high delegation of the Republic of Indonesia consisting of representatives of Moslem, Protestant, Roman Catholic and Hindu faith.
One of the topics that has been discussed was an inter-religious dialogue of Serbia and Indonesia which would be held in the second half of 2013 in Indonesia. The Patriarch blessed this conference next year as well as the First Inter-religious dialogue of Serbia and Indonesia in Belgrade (April 2011).
The chief of the high parliamentary delegation of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Milton Pakpahan said: “ Let God bless His Holiness Patriarch Irinej and let God bless Serbia!”.
