Patriarch IRINEJ served a memorial service to Prince Mihailo
His Holiness Patriarch IRINEJ, Serbian Patriarch in the presence of representatives of Ministry of Defence and General Staff of the Military of Serbia, City of Belgrade, as well as representatives of associations for cherishing traditions of liberation wars of Serbia, served today in the Belgrade Cathedral church the memorial service to Prince Mihailo Obrenovic.
At the prayerful memorial service to Prince Mihailo, His Holiness was concelebrated by His Grace Vicar Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno and brotherhood of priests of the Cathedral church.
After the memorial service the representatives of the delegations laid wreaths and pay high state and military honors to one of the most significant new-century Serbian rulers who was tragically killed in the assassination in Topcider in 1868.
