Patriarch Meets with Russian Cadets

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch met yesterday on July 4, 2011 in Belgrade's Cathedral church of St. Michael the Archangel with participants of the Fourth assembly of cadets of the Russian Cadet Corps in Serbia. 

In the presence of protopresbyter-staurophor Vitaly Tarasyev - the head of the Representation of the Moscow Patriarchate in Belgrade, Patriarch Irinej spoke with the cadets of the Moscow Cossack Cadet Corps "Michail Sholohov" and  Cossack Cadet Assembly "Matvei Platov".

The Assembly of the Russian Cadets, organized by the Fund for the support of cadet corps and the Foundation of Alexy Jordan, is held in the Serbian capital from June 26  to July 6, 2011 and he was followed by series of events, meetings with people of Bela Crkva, concerts and rounded table on the theme Historical tradition of the Russian cadet education and upbringing in the cadet corps  of the modern Russia in the Russian House in Belgrade.
