Patriarch Theodoros presided over the Vigil Service in the Cathedral Church in Belgrade
His Beatitude Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa Teodoros II presided over the Vigil Service in the Cathedral of the Holy Archangel Michael in Belgrade on September 23, 2017.
Patriarch Theodoros II was concelebrated by Cathedral principle Archpriest-Stavrophor Petar Lukic and the priesthood of the Cathedral. In addition to numerous faithful people of the capital city and pupils of the St. Sava Theological School, the solemn service was attended by His Holiness Patriarch Serbian Patriarch Irinej; His Eminence Porfirije, Metropolitan of Zagreb-Ljubljana, and Their Graces Bishops: Irinej of Backa, Justin of Zica and Fotije of Zvornik-Tuzla, as well as by the distinguished entourage of the Primate of the Alexandrian Church: Their Eminences Metropolitans Georgios of Guinea and Niphont of Pelousion, and Secretary of the Synod, Very Venerable Archimandrite Daniel. The First Belgrade Choral Ensemble and the choir of the Kovilj Monastery were chanting responses.
