The monastery of Hodos (in Romanian Mănăstirea Hodoș-Bodrog), after the hierarchical division in 1864 belonged to the Romanian Orthodox Church. It is located 15 km southwest of Arad, near Felnak. Historical sources say that the present-day monastery was founded in the 15th century by the old noble Serbian Jaksics family, as well as the nearby Bezdin monastery, which still belongs to the Serbian Orthodox Church today.
The monastery is today under jurisdiction of the Arad Diocese of the Romanian Orthodox Church. It has a brotherhood and presents one of the most fruitful spiritual shrines of the region.
