Patron Saint-day of the chapel of Saint Simeon the Myrrh-Gusher at Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade
On the occasion of the Patron Saint-day of the chapel, His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Patriarchal chapel of Saint Simeon the Myrrh-Gusher on 26 February 2013
At the Liturgy many priests concelebrated to the Patriarch: protopresbyter-stavrophor Savo Jovic, Chief Secretary of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church; protopresbyter-stavrophor Stojadin Pavlovic, director of the Administration office of the Patriarchate; protopresbyter-stavrophor Slobodan Milunovic, parish priest from Munich; protopresbyter-stavrophor Dr. Vladimir Vukasinovic, diocesan dean of Belgrade; protopresbyter-stavrophor Petar Lukic, dean of the Cathedral church in Belgrade; protopresbyter-stavrophor Miroslav Milenkovic, parish priest at the church of Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos in Belgrade; protosyngellos Stefan (Saric), spiritual adviser from Rajinovac monastery; presbyter Panayiotis Karatasios, priest of the Archbishopric of Athens; presbyter Vukasin MIlicevic, editor-in-chief of the Slovo Ljubve Radio; presbyter Miroslav Colakovic, secretary of the Diocesan Steering committee of the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovac; protodeacon Tomislav Milovanovic and deacons Vladimir Rumenic and Aleksandar Sekulic.
Mr. Mileta Radojevic, Director of the Office for Cooperation with the Traditional Churches and Religious Communities also attended the service.
The members of the First Belgrade Singing Society sang responses as it has been traditionally doing for years. The host of the slava was protodeacon Stevan Rapajic with his family and Mrs. Krstana Tasic, an iconographer from Germany.
