The Parish of the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God on the Gold Coast celebrated the church slava on Sunday, 1 September 2019, with the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy officiated by His Grace Bishop Silouan of Australia and New Zealand.

Local parish priest Djordje Petrovic, Russian priest Aleksandar Paremonov and deacon Milos Raketic concelebrated the Liturgy.

After the Holy Liturgy and the procession around the church, all the faithful proceeded to the church hall where a slava meal and a cultural program were prepared.
