At the seat of the Diocese of Canada, at the monastery of Holy Transfiguration in Milton near Toronto, on 14 October 2013 the Patron Saint-day of the Diocese was marked - the Protection of the Most Holy Mother of God

On Saturday, Bishop George of Canada served at the Cathedral church of Saint Nicholas in Hamilton (on Nash Rd.), and on Sunday, at the church of Saint Nicholas at Barton str. in the same town, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of this oldest Serbian parish in Ontario. His Grace Bishop George of Canada was enthroned 29 years ago in this Cathedral church in Hamilton, on the feast day of the Protection of the Most Holy Mother of God.

Bishop George served the Holy Hiearchal Liturgy with the concelebration of seventeen priests and two deacons and in attendance of many believers. Members of the choir "Saint Roman Melod" from Kitchener's church of Holy Trinity sang responses. The program was continued at the magnificent building of the Diocesan library.
