Patron Saint-day of Saint Nicholas Church in Machagai, Argentina

On the feast-day of the Great Martyr Barbara, 17 December 2017, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was served by Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral and Bishop Kirilo of Dioclea in the church of Saint Nicholas in Machagai.

The Metropolitan was concelebrated by Archimandrite Demetrius from Paraguay, local parish priest Branko Stanisic, priest Marko Obradovic from Brazil, as well as protodeacons Nikola Radis and Vladimir Jaramaz. With the blessing of Metropolitan Amfilohije, on this Sunday service the feast-day of Saint Nicholas of Myra was celebrated as well.

The church of Saint Nicholas in Machagai is the first church built in Machagai, and the regional authorities declared it as a monument of special cultural significance.
